Produced around 1951 by the Zanesville Stoneware Company in Ohio, this mid-century American art pottery piece is characterized by its high-gloss bright yellow glaze, a low fluted or ribbed body, a raised pedestal foot, and two elegant side handles. The mold number 864 is typically stamped or incised directly onto the bottom of the base.
