Baker Milling Road Pedestal Table is a fine neoclassical-style round pedestal accent table from Baker Furniture's esteemed Milling Road line. The Milling Road collection is celebrated for bridging historical European furniture forms with a more relaxed, transitional aesthetic.
Design & Architectural Details: The circular tabletop features a classic "dish-top" design with a subtly raised, molded gallery edge.
Neoclassical Turned Pedestal: The table relies on a central turned pillar column. It is punctuated by a dark, contrast-finished reeded/fluted band in the middle, which draws inspiration from 19th-century Regency and Empire styling.
Triform Platform Base: The pedestal meets a concave, triangular platform (triform base) that stabilizes the table.
Scrolled Sabre Feet: Branching out from the triform base are three gently curved sabre feet. The tips are accented with darker, ebonized, or capped toes that mirror the central reeded ring.
Material & Finish: Crafted primarily out of premium solid cherry, the table features a warm, lustrous hand-applied stain that highlights the depth and character of the wood grain.
