The Technique Used to Make This
Cased Crystal: This was created by taking a clear crystal form and fusing a layer of deep, opaque black glass over the entire exterior surface.
Hand Cut: A skilled artisan then used a wet grinding wheel to painstakingly cut through the black layer to reveal the precise, clear crystal lines underneath. The sharp edges of the pattern are a signature of true hand-cut crystal.
